I'd rather them take a while and get it right, than release it too soon.
TulsaGeoff
Sounds like PVP Arena will not be ready for that release. Well gotta get gear before you can PVP anways.

ajnl
Dont you think its been long enough? Look at Starcraft. It took a long time to get Starcraft 2 out and its only the first part. But they did it right. Look at how many games or other programs flop b/c of they release them too quick, without getting all the bugs/glitches out. You'll run into bugs no matter how long the games in development, there has been 100's of balance changed to Sc2. Some times its a good idea to release a game a little early so people can point out the bugs.

Either way, I'd rather them take longer to release the game than release it too early. Better late than early when it comes to games. RoosterCogburn
The real money auctions will be controlled by the foreign farmers. I don't see much money being made there trying to compete with their brutal farming methods.
TulsaGeoff
I'm not familiar with Diablo but in wow the farmers are who you buy gold and some other stuff from. You would never be able to buy end game gear from farmers. The farming bots just can't do raid bosses and play well. There were some websites that offered end game gear for hundreds of dollars in WoW. I don't know if Diablo has bosses like WoW, but it was not easy stuff. It took weeks of practicing with the same people and developing strategies with skill to take alot of those mofos down. Obviously not "alot" (I dont see it ever being better than a job, lol) of money can be made for the average joe, but if its similar to wow I could see some gear being pretty expensive due to the few people that can rock the end game stuff. It goes both ways, people that have jobs and children can now buy gear and compete to some extent.
RoosterCogburn
The farmers will have an easier time in D3 because server limits parties to 4 players. Not to mention that you can clear all the difficulties solo. Farmers are absolutely going to dominate the auction house. Farmers in wow didn't sell gear because it was too much of a time commitment for how much effort was wasted clearing trash and what not, but now all they have to do is group up in pairs and clear all content over and over until they get something good to sell. On the plus side though, I expect gear to be pretty cheap.
