UT_ski_bum Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Don't worry, I haven't died in an avalanche yet. I did get caught in a small avalanche earlier this year but I turned around and kicked its @55! Well actaully I skied out of it. To answer the question in the title of the post, SkiBum has been skiing. Skiing alot and when I'm not skiing I'm working my @55 off as a supervisor at my resorts conference center (recently 50 hour weeks plus 25 hours of skiing a week). All that skiing adds up, so far this year I've skied 825,000 vertical feet. Thats about 160 miles. And also works out to almost 1,000 horizontal miles. Quote

UT_ski_bum Posted March 4, 2012 Author Posted March 4, 2012 Hey I have enough time today to check out the forums. Its nice to have a little free time. I've been busy working and skiing. Where im at we got 4 feet of snow in 3 days. We had some large avalanches close the road so I was stuck at the resort. Unfortunatly I don't get paid to ski, YET. If all goes as planned I will be on Patrol next season. Right now Im a PM supervisor in my resorts conference center so I ski EVERY day before work, get home at midnight and wake up at 7am to do it all over. Quote
