I find that if you press 3 to cycle the rifles then they either both have nades, but if you fire one, then you lose the other.

 

Hint 2: When attacking adren nubs, nade their legs or the floor near them, try to get them flying so their acc is waaay off, then run.

 

I used to play ETPro, horrible mod xD....

 

Oh yea, last hint, you might want to throw knife, then whip out rifle too but that doesn't work all the time. (only worked a handful of times when I was bored lol)

I never noticed that you can load 2 rnades, is it a sort of bug? I wil try but it sounds lame ;) ... And I generally refuse to use knives on principle :D

 

But, I would be curious what exactly you find so horrible about etpro mod,

(hidden because it's a bit ot)

 

 

in my opinion (with all respect to Jaybird for his work) Jaymod just copied all the stuff that was already on etpro (antilag, antiwarp, headbox matching the animation - that was actually made public by Zinx from etpro - hitsounds, etc. etc.) they 'forgot' to put all the things useful in competitions (no forcecvar to force nubs and lamers to use some settings, no spawn class scripts...)

They decided to change the order of all game events, so nothing works on it, no wolfcam, no demo analysys and sh*t just for the fun of it, since I see no other reason.

They copied some game physics stuff (fixedphysics) but it sux, in fact you can't do some gammas with jaymod because you don't bounce when you hit the floor if it's too low. Jaymod tj server = big fail. And it still feels different, jaymod physics feel more 'sticky' or laggy I don't know why maybe it's placebo or there is something different.

Only recently they have added grenades and rifle loading while leaning. Damage is bugged so you can't even check your stats properly.

You can't disable bullet tracers so if your ping is high you have to deal with all those fkin lines confusing you while you shoot.

And what's new? Only gay stuff... double jump, stupid unbalanced weapons, extra xp levels, enemies on the map so gay wallhackers can justify themselves, one good thing is 16:9 aspect ratio, but etpro is not developed anymore.

 

The only thing I save from jaymod, to which I give a plus, is all the admin stuff for public servers, while with etpro you need external mods with lua or similar. The rest sux balls, or you can have it the same or even better on etpro.

 

Why I play jaymod then? Well, I never said my brain is normal :D

Most of new players use M mines , that why mines Not damage so much

maybe admins disable M mines , so we have to use S mines as always.

 

what is M mines and S mines, how to do that with engr class?

M-Mines are the standard mines, low kill power compared to the S-Mines or "Bouncing Betties", which bounce up into the air while detonating. Much better kill ratio than M-mines.

 

You get to these in Jaymod thru weaponbank 7. Each time you press 7, a different weapon is delivered to be used. 3 mine styles, and if you have high enough skill level, the self-adrenaline needle (needle facing inward), and with a right click of the mouse, Self-Adrenaline becomes Adrenaline-Share, ( needle facing outward,), then with next press of 7, rotatation starts over, with first mine, (poison gas).

 

1.) First mine in weaponbank 7 is Poison gas. It is hard to identify, but there are 3 circles in faded white on side of green mine canister.

No instant kill, but useful to warn you when enemy is aproaching.

2.) Next mine is M-Mine. These are not that powerful, and a player can spot them at the last second while sprinting, and jump over them, without explodsion, or with minimal damage. That's why it's best to plant 2, one to make enemy jump over, and next strategically placed for his landing, and Boom!

3.) Third mine to come up, is the best, the S-Mine, or "Bouncing Betties: which bounce up into the air while detonating. Much better kill ratio than M-mines.

4.) Self-adrenaline, (needle facing inwards) follows the 3 mine styles.

5.) [Right Click] while self-adrenaline is out, and the needle changes to point outward. Now you can inject a member of your team, and he can inject himself, (as well as others can inject him) and the effects of the adrenaline shots combined, multiply proportionally. Good for a dash into heavy enemy fire, to run out with objective, etc. (like Bank on GoldRush)

6.) Then next press of key 7 = entire rotation sequence starts over, with 1st of 3 mines again - Poison-Gas.

 

Whew! Kinda wordy, huh? lol

Well, I really don't know what to do know. Since we've all given our opinions and it seems most of us in some way or another would like the change, do I just bring it to Jaybird's intention, or maybe to a leader? :confused

POSSIBLY! Personally I think only being able to fire one r.nade when you have both loaded is a bug, being able to fire both is not a disadvantage considering the SMGs are seriously overpowered compared to the rifle.

 

Moreover, you need at least 80% ish power bar to fire both rifle nades at once anyway, so the only difference is that you can fire both of them faster than fire one and reload.
