The book I readed the most must be: Russka,

a totally unknown book by Edward Rutherfurd, that describe the history of Russia since the Viking invasion to the moder federation, through the destiny of many individuals.
If you have the chance and like history-based book, read it =)

Normally I don't read books more than once, but there are some exceptions for example I've read all Harry Potter books in 3 different languages, now I was starting to read H.P. in Japanese too, but I almost died in the attempt :D I guess I'm not ready yet

Talking about novels, other books I've read more than once are The Lord of the Rings, and Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse

I go for quantity rather than quality :P I read lotr in 3 languages as well, actually in German it was an audiobook (my German sux but I can still follow the story, or pretend to ^^)

As regards the movies, I think everyone who reads a book and then watches the movie is always disappointed at least a bit, because they cut parts of the story, change or remove characters, etc.
