@topic and antirush cmd. I have that cmd on both silent servers, why not adding it for lvl12+ on jay servers?

 

Old relic custom command before etpub to silent conversion. Please report on tracker and it will be removed.

I was quite busy this weekend so i couldn't play that much. So I really like anti-rush mode but I am not sure if it is really suitable for Goldrush. If I have seen it right you cannot repair the tank right from the beginning. For me Goldrush is being rushed when you steal the gold within a few minutes but personally I see no problem in stealing the tank in the first minute (maybe I am the only one who thinks like this?). Mostly when Allies don't get to steal the tank in the first few minutes it will turn into a SK fest for Axis and 50 mines are placed around tank which makes it really hard to steal it.

 

I don't know what you think about this situation and if it is possible at all but in my opinion anti-rush should be turned off for stealing the tank.

I have never seen goldrush being rushed, barely saw it being won by allies. So I agree with Gubbi, anti rush (if possible) should lock the golds untill 22:00 or so, thats a fair time to get there, if axis camp in bank it is impossible to steal a gold withut good teamwork.

Some things I see --> lots af admins ask players : "Are you there?". Since they want to know if someone is afk. An automatic remover to spec could help this. For example, no movement for 1min would result in automaticly putted to spec. Done with all those admins waisting time putting players to spec.

 

Second: thanks for all waypoints for bots now, working correctly. About those bots, at night, lots of players ask bots to be removed. So admins waisting time again, putting al bots to spec, and ofc they show up again when a player (dis)connect. So how about an enhmod command !kickbots for admins. sets bots in server to 1 for ex. and good thing is, all bots show automaticly up after a new map (!addbots ofc also no problem)(because it reads the file on server again, witch isnt changed). Not really needed, just an idea.

Please report your suggestion on Tracker choose issue type Suggestion.

I have updated the server to Jaymod 2.2.0. Well crashing fix cos of omni's worked on jay1 so i am giving a shot for beginners.

 

Antirush command has been added to level 13+ users and I fixed reported missing waypoints issue for special delivery map.

 

If everything works alright, I move files to jay2 so that ammo issue on jay2 will be fixed and it will have anti rush commands to.

 

Level 12+ have !disarm command.

and,

I got 3 opinions I want to share it plz.

 

1- About "landmines" ,

what about Make only "Covert-Ops" Class can spot it ( i mean show it on our map and destroy it)

as,

Its so easy when other classes spot it , as its take time to plant them

( 3 mines in full adrenaline , current mode ( engy able to plant 3 landmines )

 

I saw most "Engy class" are new players

they use "M" mines , its do little damage in enemy

and so little players use "S" mines.

 

Other solve ,

- only class able to spot landmines

- it be 4 mines in full adrenaline , ( i mean Adre. will be filled fast and able to plant 4 mines )

 

2 - About "Covert-Ops" class ,

 

- When player disguise ,Its so easy to know that player is in disguise

because his name show as "enemy disguise" ,

can't even disguise to run away and take your breath

easy to catch by noobs players ,better play with no name as enemy.

 

Other solve ,

when player disguise its show

name of the dead player (player I have killed him and Steal his Cloth)

but,

With class [C] "Covert-Ops" class.

 

Example:- [M] DeaTh is medic Class , [C] Joker is covert-ops [C]

 

he (joker) killed me (DeaTh) and steal my cloth , now

 

There is 2 ways to know him :

 

- His gun as medics class cloth can't use "sten" etc

- His name will show as : [C] DeaTh

 

 

My favo class is engy , I like to play for obj

and Defense/Attack , at night I balance teams and we have lot of fun there.

 

There is no problem with me in the current mode

I enjoy my times any ways , just share what I think is better for us.

 

This is only my opinion , nothing more. :)

Mod feature. I have asked this to jaybird since ages but he doesn't want to add it.

Yes, doable. Will do it like jay4. !kickbots it not solution but there would be something like jay4.

I agree with Mr. Death on all his points. PS: Where's your third point?

 

Also, I think that the Sten, FG42, and Snipers should have full ammo when we spawn. I know its been posted on tracker and all, but it hasn't changed. Every other class has full ammo when they spawn.

I don't know if it is possible at all, all they can do is change jaymod options, or disable some xp levels. They can't write a new mod for it.

 

Anyway it's easy to spot a covert op, I have played almost all the time in no xp servers before, and I was able to spot them 99% of the time (wrong weapon, behavior, etc.) but still they have an advantage, since your brain has to waste that fraction of a second to judge before shooting, I don't think we should give them some more advantage other than this.

 

I understand this is a beginner server, and beginners don't love the game as it is because they didn't play it long enough to understand its spirit or to love standard stuff. Always suggesting new things, new weapons, etc.

 

Plus they like the idea of having special weapons or classes that give them an advantage over those players who have worked hard for years to become good, but that's not my idea of fair play.

 

edit:

anyway, if we talk about playing for objectives, the only reason to steal uniforms is to open doors or similar stuff. So if you lose time to steal an uniform, 99% of the times you are *not* playing for your team, but you just try an easy way to get xp and/or frags.

Yes , There are Option in jaymod about it

I was play in jaymod 2.0.8 , and this option was there.
