CrapAholiC Posted June 22, 2011 Share Posted June 22, 2011 Jo guys, I have become a sniper guy since I played some fun matches at MW2 with ApfelGanja,,, When I play Black Ops, it's always sniper only but I'll come back on that later. So now I am like playing these bolt sniper only servers on cod4 which is quite fun Tho, there are always these nubkids trying to be funny and playing around with there ak's and shiz,,, So my question now, would it be possible to change the mod server (i heard it didnt have alot succes) into a sniper only? I would really want to be admin on a server like that, and totally be responsible or something. I do have the same question for an black ops server too, these days, sniper only servers have more succes than a normal server ... KingCamper Posted June 22, 2011 Share Posted June 22, 2011 I like sniping I also like other weapons. To have a st8 sniping sever to me wouldn't be as fun. Snipers have their place in "combat" just like all the other guns....then brings up the point of well so are nade launchers bla bla but IMO the option to carry what gun you want is nice. I would say no to a sniper sever. However if deemed something the clan wants. I would support and help admin it and play on it as well but would rather have something else in its place. sicsiksix Posted June 22, 2011 Share Posted June 22, 2011 I'm not a big fan of sniping, so I'd have to vote no on this one. I'm not sure how much demand there would be for this sort of thing. IMHO the draw for such a specific game type would be limited at best. I'm sure there are some out there that would love it, but the whole purpose is to create a server that will stay populated. I agree with 6 that it wont be as populated and also of you do make one make it bolt only cause the other rifles are semi auto give some people an advantage. I wouldn't play on there much. ano'kimchi Posted June 23, 2011 Share Posted June 23, 2011 There's a promod server that I used to play on that had it set to where the only classes available was the sniper class, everything else was restricted and promod already disallows the use of semi-auto snipers so that problem is already taken care of. So if you were to have a bolt sniper server maybe you can have it to be promod?
