I put my FPS on screen and it keeps turning red, and dropping to half of what it normaly is.. which iam thinking is a over heating problem..can that cause the game to crash? Any Idea's? HI, Iam running xp pro..i got something called intel desktop utilities.. says my system zone 1 is whats over heating. getting warnings during gameplay.. what is system zone 1? lol processor fan? It is actually easier to check if the cooling block gets hot. Basic trick, if you can hold your hand on it without pain, it's less than 55 degrees (celcius ) and it shouldn't be a problem. In that case the airflow in your PC is bad, or the problem is something else. Otherwise, reapply thermal paste as dare said. Btw, the "cpu temperature" as you see it is not something like 127 degrees celcius (1000F or something), right? In that case there's a problem with the measurement, not necessary with the temperature itself.
