PHANTASM Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Hrm.... (in no particular order) Princess Mononoke Kill Bill The Nightmare Before Christmas Watchmen 300 Fight Club kill bill is a nice one.. 300 sucked... Didnt do any justice to the real facts... 300 was awesome. Don't worry about the so-called "facts". Braveheart didn't follow the facts either, nor do most movies based on actual events. 300 is a visual feast beyond description. If you haven't seen 300, drop whatever you are doing and watch it. It's been on cable non-stop the last month. Quote

Jess Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Kill Bill is amaaaaaazing. I like both parts, but part 1 has to be my favorite. I know 300 wasn't true to the facts, but I enjoyed the comic and for whatever reason I just loooove the movie. It's the only movie I've seen in theaters twice lol. It just looks amazing and even though there's not much to it and it's just a simple bloodbath, I love it anyways haha. I just love warriors/swords/etc. I have to agree with Phantasm's description of it as a "visual feast." Even if it isn't true to the facts, I think it probably made a lot of people want to learn the facts and look into the story, which is cool. Quote
Administrators daredevil Posted June 24, 2009 Author Administrators Posted June 24, 2009 Gladiator is one of my fav movies. Medic u movie owns That was nice movie. Quote
metal_scum Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 just the real facts are enough for me... I do not like that kind of movies because they distort the facts usually in a negative way towards its history. I've experienced that kind, Like meet the spartans which stated many shits about Spartans and someone would tell me its just a funny way of altering the movie but i didnt take it that way... Quote
