CreAtioN Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 Lol I don't think anyone got urines meaning of 'resolution' yet. mines 1280x1080 Quote
rolf Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 1920x1200, 1920x1080, 1280x800? But I cod at 1680x1050 My new new-years resolution: Run, in October, the marathon of Eindhoven (42km) in less than 4 hours. Maybe 1/2 marathon is good enough, but then in less than 2 hours. I'm currently able to run about 5km in ~26 minutes, hart rate of >180 and some pain for 2 days, so I need a lot of training Quote
Achiyan Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 1920x1080 here. btw, whats the difference between 1920x1080 and 1920x1200. 120 pixels taller so better quality? or is 1080 actually produce a sharper image? but my serious resolution is to be a better man. seriously, do whatever it takes to take care of family. no if, ands, or buts. or ors, whats, or how abouts. rolf Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 1920x1080 here. btw, whats the difference between 1920x1080 and 1920x1200. 120 pixels taller so better quality? or is 1080 actually produce a sharper image? Both does not only depend on the resolution, but also on the size of the screen. an 1" screen with 100x100 pixels gives a sharper image than 100" with 1000x1000 pixels. Difference for me is the 1920x1200 is my main/game screen of 24", 1920x1080 is my tv of 37" (both connected to the pc). The screen aspect ratio used to be 4:3 for both tv's and pc's. However, it changed to wide screen and for pc's it became 16:10 and for tv's 16:9. Now, since the pc screens are multi-purpose, they become 16:9 to. Many people don't care about 16:10 or 16:9. But you really notice those 120px when you're developing/writing/reading papers, and those people hate that recent change. I just hate that my tv and pc don't have the same resolution </useless information> Quote
