SkyeDarkhawk Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 I was getting ready to play this, then remembered that I just broke Flash on my system. Hopefully it's pretty good. I should be able to check it out later this week when I upgrade to Windows 7 from Ubuntu. Quote
Achiyan Posted December 30, 2010 Author Posted December 30, 2010 That's SO awful :L back to W:ET lol. i like it actually. just not the flash cus of the keys. the original floppy or a emulated version gets a + from me. i used to play this as a kid. this and Duke Nukem 3d. oooh....Duke: Enemy territory... Vanaraud Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 lol. i like it actually. just not the flash cus of the keys. the original floppy or a emulated version gets a + from me. i used to play this as a kid. this and Duke Nukem 3d. oooh....Duke: Enemy territory... Yeah best game still, get machine gun, 99 bullets and a room of bastards and then empty all 99 bullets with one triggerpull no mach for this. and yeah duke3d and doom didn´t try that flash version but on my Nokia have finished all 6 maps with bring em on Quote
SkyeDarkhawk Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 If you haven't played it yet, and you enjoy older games try System Shock, Heretic, Hexen, and Marathon. Quote
Achiyan Posted December 30, 2010 Author Posted December 30, 2010 i played Heretic and Hexen. i think i only liked Heretic tho. thats the game with the wizard guy or whatever right? like on the first level you have a staff with a orb on the tip that shoots? Quote
SkyeDarkhawk Posted December 30, 2010 Posted December 30, 2010 Sounds about right. Hexen is one of the sequels to Heretic, following along the same plot base. System Shock ended up getting a sequel a good handful of years ago; both are pretty good, but the first was from around the same time as Doom and Wolf3d. If you liked Duke3d, try Shadow Warrior. And Marathon was the really old game made by Bungee that Halo was based on. Quote
Vanaraud Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 lol apogee games... duke nukem 3d was also apogee´s? Quote
SkyeDarkhawk Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 I believe Duke Nukem 1 and 2 were Apogee while Duke 3D kicked off with 3D Realms/iD, maybe. Quote
Vanaraud Posted December 31, 2010 Posted December 31, 2010 yeah, Duke3d was 3drealms Right mixed duke 3d and duke 2d- but those apogee games were fun too, especially duke 2d Quote
SkyeDarkhawk Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 Yeah, there was a bunch of Apogee sharewares that I used to play, can't even begin to remember all of them anymore. Quote
