Betinho Posted February 8 Posted February 8 Hi Zelda, how are you? There's a lot of useful information here on the forum to help you. Many players have posted their config files in the area where you wrote; you can download them and find theirs. You should pay attention to a few things that might be helpful for playing, for example: /_pitch 0.022 is the default, but you can lower it (pitch is for moving the mouse up and down). I play at 0.005 in Jay. /_yaw 0.022 you can adjust it a bit to your liking (from left to right). Lately I've been playing with a higher value (0.026). /r_primitives 0 (make sure it's the correct one) for NVIDIA (it doesn't have to be set to 1, which is for AMD). I understand that some people play with 0 or 2; you can try them and see which one works best for you. /cg_fov 90 (90 makes enemies appear larger, but it reduces your overall view). I think the default is 100 (you can adjust it from 90 to 120). /com_maxfps 125 (here you can put 125, 140, 160, 200, 250, whatever feels most comfortable for you). Many people play at either 125 or 250. I recommend 125. There are many examples of what it can handle. You also need to pay attention to your NVIDIA configuration. Here's one of the many forums that can help you with configuration (you can search for more, there are many): Also, if you have a monitor with 144Hz or higher, you should be able to play better with a good game and NVIDIA configuration. If you have a 60Hz monitor, the settings might help, but you could be limited because the monitor won't reflect what the GPU is trying to deliver. Quote
