Achiyan Posted December 22, 2010 Share Posted December 22, 2010 locked keys in my 2000 impala ls....dont have a doorstop/wedge and nearby stores are closed. was gonna try the hanger trick but chevy has installed a harder 'water jam' the prevents anything from slidin behind the window. my two best bets thwarted. any tips? ps: i gotta work in the mornin. its 10:30pm now...... DAMNIT . my hangers arent long enought. just tried. thought i was in a eureka moment. i used a pair of pliers to pry open the gap where they put the wedge but i fell short. plus the hanger bends when you slide it in and starts heading towards the center of the car.
