change it to /r_primitives 0 in your cfg file should fix it i believe :)

/r_primitives 0 for Nvidia GPU's
/r_primitives 2 for AMD
^These work on Vanilla ET (2.60b or however you want to call it).
The command was removed from ET Legacy, hence it does nothing with that client.

Try launching the game and correcting the value of it depending on the GPU manufacturer.
Other option is opening the .cfg file and changing the value in it.

He is right.
The legacy team fixed hundreds of bugs there were in ET 2.60b.
