ET SILENT #1 please restore baserace desert

when some of us found out that baserace was removed from the the s1 map rotation, we were obviously left disappointed. 

 

though we cannot play during peak hours... we certainly enjoy this map whenever we are presented with the opportunity to do so. 

 

we understand that the vast majority dont like baserace but for the ones that do play, it is a real enjoyment so its sad to see it disappear.

 

i didnt want it to end up here because the amount of opposition in the comments section is too overwhelmingly opposed to baserace. 

 

i tried to pm @Cocanation , i tried to pm @RedBaird, i tried to pm @daredevil about this now i have no choice but to take to the public forum and accept the vast superior numbers of the haters criticism.

 

im being civil so please no cheap shots.

 

on behalf of myself, greta, daddy zee, wolfwilly and any other long time regulars that enjoy baserace.... i ask you to please add baserace desert to the s1 server.

 

as i mentioned, we are more than happy to play after hours when everyone has left the server.

 

as a baserace lover and as a platinum subscriber member, i hope you will consider our request.

I should have replied to you that I have nothing to do with any maplist on any FA server.  Some FA admins can change maps on some of the servers, but none of them can change all the maps on all the servers all the time.  (Paraphrasing US President Lincoln).

 

PMing DareDevil is usually a waste of time, as he relies on us, his underlings, to act as 'filters' for him.  

 

I am about 50 messages behind in replying to PMs on the forums and on Discord.  I am really getting embarrassed by it.  I hope my silence has not hurt any feelings.

Baserace is a waste, I agree some players like it but is not a majority.

 

So it will be nice to keep up with popular demand.

 

We still have the other version in rotation so not in the big need to add another one.

 

Like I said some people like it but sometimes the server gets killed when is chosen, unfortunately has that bad luck every time is picked.

 

Would keep it out of rotation, but well, sometimes you have to make some sacrifices and play maps you dont like

It usually becomes a big frag fest and both teams not doing the supposed objective. Without double jump it's not that fun.

oh its very fun........ but double jump makes it impossible to kill anyone as they are literally flying through hyperspace

Yes baserace in its original base building obj with double jump was the cats meow.  Super fun team work event.  Get rid of the kill score obj and return to build your base the fastest and the map is a riot.
