1st image taken from my bedroom window

2nd image was taken from my wife while she was out at the store :)

Rebaird removed the duplicate pics from this merged post.  I was going to Hide it, but then you couldn't see the 'likes' that it had garnered! 😄

Not lucky with this eclipse although it was seen in northern states before going for Texas in the US.

We can keep this topic as well @Shoresy as its worthy for the section! 🏆

Will try to do an update soon when Space.com gets properly feeded by people that had the chance 😄

@Magi I sent a copy of this pic to my sister, whose sky was more overcast in her part of Texas.

This was taken in Belton, I didn't think we get a chance to see it as a clearly as we did.

It looks like the Iberian Peninsula will have a "good eclipse" in 2026 AND another one in 2027!   (Your country will have the envy of the rest of Europe!)  😄 Northern Africa and "the Med" is scheduled for a good one later.

https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/list.html    Click on the dates and you will see a count-down timer for the event! 😄

I merged them after your post reminded me of the other topic.

Thanks @RedBaird merging them together was a better idea :)

Its what I get for checking the forums down the line in order hehe, should have checked all before posting 😛

Also: For anyone who has any newer phones with "Night mode" cameras, the pictures were visible a lot more and picture came out much better with night mode enabled. Just a tip when trying to capture something bright!

Reason my picture came out so well is because of the night mode + I have a really dark tint on my bedroom windows as well. So through the 5% tint and night mode on my phone it captured the negative in the photo really well making it look nearly pitch black outside.
