Hello :)

i hope to get a answer on my problem :)

After connecting to my favorite Server (Beginners 1) i got a very bad ping... and also my connection is deleted.

(on other Servers isn´t this problem 😕 )

I select DSL / Cable... and after a few seconds it´s again unselected.

And this every time... It´s not possible to play with this problem.

I hope someone as an idea or a solution :)

Thanks

Remus :)

You could try moving jaymod\Profiles\"you"\etconfig.cfg from ET,

A new one will be generated...With default settings.

If that doesn't help, Remove etmain\Profiles\"you"\etconfig.cfg.

Ingame at Beginners: Open ET console(Press ~), Type:/seta rate 45000 Press Enter

Were you just playing on Beginners#1 and were you on Beginners #2 1/2 hour before that?

It is fine to let "unselected" in the menu, it may be the case, because you have a custom rate

Basicaly, the menu has "preset rate values"
If you choose modem it will set a rate of 4000, if you choose ISDN it will set it to 5000, and if you choose LAN/CABLE/xDSL it will set it to 25000.

Here the code of the menu about it :

cvarFloatList { "Modem" 4000 "ISDN" 5000 "LAN/CABLE/xDSL" 25000 } cvarListUndefined "Unselected"

If you chose a connection type on menu and connect to server which forces to another rate, it may change it to "unselected", because it has modified the default rate you have selected.

The "unselected" is due to manual rate config / or server forcing rate

1- clean your TCP/IP stack:

2- please follow this
