My sister has her cat toilet trained. The biggest complaint she has is that whenever she has guests or something over, and they use the restroom, the cat always has a big steamer in there. And it is a little embarrassing. But other than that, I would say it is pretty easy to toilet train cats. She did it in about 3 months.
