ART / GFX Art Thread (For everybody/ anybody...?)

I'm  an inspired artist but I'm not very practiced. I have been drawing with passion lately. I'm obsessed with getting better. I know that my style is evolving but there are things that I need to work on. I'm my own worst critic which is ok actually because it helps me improve or drive me to do better.  I'm not really here for criticism or praise. I am trying to get better, I'm drawing just to draw honestly. It just feels right/ good right now. I'm inspired...

This is my latest drawing so I'll start with this.

I don't want to make a thread entirely for myself, so others are welcome to share. I don't understand why we have 10 different art threads honestly, why not just make one? 😄 I've been drawing every day for a few weeks now. I really want to get better.  Support is welcomed but I'm truly drawing from my own heart and it's just something I want to do.

LOL, well this thread isn't taking off but I'll share my latest drawing.

Here is the progression over the past few weeks.

The contrast between this little smile and the deepness of her eyes is awesome..

You draw from a picture of just from what is in your mind?

I mostly draw from pictures but sometimes I alter the reference in my head or improvise. For now I'm comfortable with a photo reference, until I feel confident enough to move on. Maybe these drawings will help people to understand why I'd take something like ET to heart. If  you ever spec me on a good day in ET you'll see me almost playing like an artist. 😄 But, the game leaves me frustrated when players come in who seem godly and it seems that  they are unable to even take a hit.

Anyways back to art, which is a good place to put my energy I use photo references.

A real artist can't be good everytime, that's maybe why 😛

Amazing artwork!!! I only wish I can do face portraits like that. There are a few sketches that I have done of sail ships and a few others I should take a photo of them to post on here sometime.  But as for your artwork just beautiful keep it up and never listen to your inner critic.

My 16 yr old daughter does digital art on her Note 8. She's actually pretty amazing and has done 100's of these designs. She wants to pursue a career in digital design and animation. These are some of my favorites
