Jay2 problems

When I'm on jay2 Darth cannot join all it says is awaiting connection and the same thing happens if he's on jay2 and I try to join this has never happened before until today and it doesn't happen on nq1 or jay3 any suggestions please

Do you 'share' an IP?

 

If you are in the same household, then it might be a problem like this one :

2 computers on same wifi = port problems

Yes we have been sharing the same ip for years and never had this problem till yesterday dont think its a port problem cause we have always been able to play on the same server and we can play on beginners together just not jay2 but it was fine before

Not sure if that will work as I found out that when darth is on nq1 I still cannot connect to jay2

Thats fine now I can play Jay2 when he's on nq1 but if I'm on jay2 Darth cannot join but we can play together on beginners

Maybe it serves the same purpose but you can try:

/net_port 27962
/net_restart

connect ip.ip.ip.ip:ip

Well found out today that Darth can play jay2 but I cannot i can play on any other jaymod server just not jay2

Did it work?

 

if you have to type it everytime, I suggest you create a cfg file (if you don't know what it is, then it's another problem :P) named port.cfg and inside,

/net_port 27962
/net_restart

 

 

So everytime you encouter the problem, you just have to type in the console /exec port   and the game will type these things for you. Then you type reconnect (I think that will do) I hope it's clear enough, I can explain with more details if needed.
