script help needed

hey can some one give me some usefull scripts like sprint+shoot etc... and tell how to use them i downloaded one but didnt know how to use it ... im asking here so that the source is reliable..

sprint + shoot:

set begin_att "+attack; +sprint"
set end_att "-attack; -attack; -sprint; -sprint"
bind mouse1 "+vstr begin_att end_att" 

 

I've put the - commands twice to make sure they don't get 'stuck' maybe useless, though.

Let me know if you need other ones.

You may also want a field of view toggle script. Just put it in your autoexec.cfg file in your etmain folder.

 

bind CAPSLOCK "vstr fov"

set fov "vstr fov90"

why would you want a sprint and shoot script... all you have to do is SHIFT AND MOUSE1. and if you do have a shoot and sprint script its gonna be annoying when youre priming grenades and sniping and stuff.

Through this few years, his/her choices of scripts and playing style also changes.

 

Let him use it and once he will realize, this is not going to work much longer, he will start using sprint key back rather then script.

My journey had me playing on an ETPub server heavily set up like an ETPro server. Years before I ever tried playing on Jaymod! I guess I went backwards!

I started as etpro player and I am ending as jaymod player

(well actually it was etpub + jaymod + etpro -> etpro only -> jaymod only)

 

sprint + shoot is bad for pistol and rifle among other things, because you don't hold the button, but I used it as well years ago.

 

More useful is +attack; -speed to stop walking at once imho. (but nobody walks on jaymod, too many players around).

 

I suggest you to bind sprint to your mouse2. Shift is really unconfortable especially for trickjumping.

 

my shift button is binded like this:

set zoom1 "cg_fov 90" 
set zoom2 "cg_fov 120" 
bind SHIFT "+vstr zoom1 zoom2"

 

so I normally play with 120 fov, but for a quick zoom I hold shift when I need it, and back to 120 when I release it.

Here's a crouch toggle script I use sometimes.

 

bind c "vstr crouchtoggle"

set crouch "+movedown; set crouchtoggle vstr standup"

set standup "-movedown ;set crouchtoggle vstr crouch"

Basically it lets you just press C once to stay crouched. Press it again to stand back up. It can take some getting used to. I don't prefer to play with it myself anymore.

 

This is a script for using a Field Op's artillery instantly.

 

bind Z "+zoom; +attack; wait 10; -attack; -zoom;"

 

I don't use it much but it's useful when playing as a Fieldy. When you press Z, or whatever button you set it to, you will zoom in with your binoculars and automatically call an arty strike if one's available. As soon as the binoculars zoom in, they zoom back out, allowing for easy calling of artillery just before a death or while on the move.

 

Also, here's a walk toggle. I really find it to my liking actually. It's not much of a script though.

 

bind Alt "toggle cl_run"

 

 

Basically just take any scripts and throw the text into your config file on a new line.

 

EDIT - Sorry, parts of my script were bunched up when I posted. They should be fixed now.

ok guys i have aproblem

firstly i cudnt find any file called autoecxec.cfg in etmain folfolder...tho der was a file called etconfig.cfg

secondaly wat i did was i went to etmain then profiles then opened my default profile inside it there was etconfig.cfg i opened it through word copy some of the binds as it is and pasted them in word

 

 

then saved it while saving the following 2 options came i chose yes(photo uploaded wil show them)

But when i played thru that profile the binds didnt work and wen i opened the etconfig.cfg of the profile in which i saved it all the data that i copied got removed....

So help me out on wat to do

I wonder whether opening cfg file thru word was right

Btw i have win7 n word 03
