Censored Name on S1

Have a problem with my name being censored on the S1 server, seems fine at the start of the game but then becomes censored after.

 

Never had this problem on the other servers I play on like Beg2 and HC.

try with color ^whitchcock or ^whitchco^wck

Name was already in colour before, I tried the second method also still the same problem.

 

It keeps going back to white and censored.

I would not try /name "Hitchc o ck".  When I did, the name became "**********".

 

You can try a zero, '0' or a '*', as I did with Hitchc*ck.

 

That censor rule is not going to be changed, because then some would abuse it as a form of "self-abuse", so to speak.

 

I found a way to do it, but it is definitely not a permanent name-change.

Hmm that's a odd one why it would censor the name late in the game if I were you I would just try renaming to H!tchc0ck, just my opinion wouldn't hurt to try.   Good luck

No worries, thanks anyway. I'll probably leave it as it is then as the original name still shows up during the warm up.

 

How come that censor rule doesn't apply to the other servers? Only have this problem with S1.

Its could just be an oversight or more likely I'd assume the cock part has probably been abused by a few idiots on Silent1 in the past so its been added to blocked names on that server. I cant speak for all the other servers but NQ1 for instance has very, very few names blacklisted or even words tbh. I'm sure if idiots came on there all the time with suckmyc*ck etc then it would probably be blacklisted there too. Sadly its been ruined for the legit name users like yourself.
