I've implemented some graphics improvement and other fixes into ET Legacy.

 

You can see how it looks in the video above. It still has some issues but might be worth trying if you're interested.

Can my "old" machine handle that, or do I need to add another graphics card? :D

Well, alpha blending itself shouldn't really increase GPU or CPU load though if you want to use 200% resolution scale, which means 4x supersampling, then you'll need a bit more GPU power.

I'm not really sure how GPU taxing the HD textures are, though pretty sure not really CPU taxing, using them doubles the time it takes for map loading.

Not a huge improvement and still needs bug fixes and my code is probably too messy to commit to the official ET:L repository 😅

Anyway I wish Enemy Territory will live long 😀

There's one thing I didn't realise: if you are unable to connect to legacy mod servers, removing z__pak0.pk3 and z_Sl_RtCWHD.pk3 (if present) from the etmain folder should fix it.

Added a feature to set the power plan to use while playing on Windows. Type in console "exec high_performance", "exec balanced" or "exec ryzen_balanced" and it should activate the power plan the next time you launch ET. It will be changed back when you close ET or leave it unfocused.
