Tonka Posted October 7, 2010 Share Posted October 7, 2010 This is going to be something interesting, to fix. There is only 3 commands: 1. To delete PID which happens after ET crash. 2. To delete custom pk3, to reduce md5 scan lags on old PC 3. To delete any pk3, which has .tmp extension. I will check with medic this weekend. @Tonka, do you ever need those 95 pk3's ? More pk3 = More game loading time + lag, if server is running md5 scans. yeah, I was surprised to see that many in there lol. Deletes the map who have "_" in there name.. Example map with name beta_test.pk3 will be cleaned because it as "_" in it. Not sure why it's doing that. Time to look at how windows handle file name structure. But as you said you can download the map easily but if possible we need to fix the issue. ultraman Posted December 5, 2010 Share Posted December 5, 2010 UPDATE: 30/08/2010 Fixed some old links added normal servers menu to etmain added auto clean *.tmp files ***URGENT*** This message is for all Players of F|A servers, Please update to last menu so you can be able to join our servers with the right IP, since some of you have old menu that don't allow you to join some F|A server that we moved to new machine (new ip) so with last menu you will be able to connect to F|A servers even if in the future we change IP. 3 Steps: 1-> Download 2-> Double Click 3-> Install (it will delete old menu automatically and silently) (if you've changed ET folder!! on step 2 hit browse to the right ET folder) Added to ET "clean.cmd" you will may need in the future to Clean your game from any old menu, just double on Clean.cmd again. Just run the exe but don't run the clean.cmd supplied with it. No, it will not change bookmark which you have stored as favorites. If you leave server and try to join back it gives that error.
