FinZeroX
So, were going to order some hardware from Germany and build up two excelent gaming rigs with exactly same parts. The whole packet without OS is going to cost about 600€+postal fees(Thanks, EU). I'm going to post specific part list soon but here's something: CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 Graphicsh Card: Was it ATI HD 5750 1GB? Motherboard: ASUS Sockel AM3 DDR3 EVO-model(integrated Sounds&Network) RAM: 2x 2GB DDR3=4GB HDD: 1TB or 500GB Optical DVD-RW Quality PSU(something like 500W) Scythe Mugen CPU Cooler I chose AMD because competition with leading Intel forces it to keep the prices low and stilll AMD processors&motherboards are almost as good as Intel's. Also if I want to swich to Hexa-Core CPU, it wont cost me that much(200€). Also room for 2 sticks of memory more Be back latter with more info. Krauersaut
Are you going to order the parts or two manufactured PC's from Germany? Had a bad experience with ordering manufactured PC's from Germany in the past...
RoosterCogburn
I agree, definitely should build them yourself.
Bi0s
bulding them urself is better but its slowly phasing out cause a prebuilt pc are cheap sometimes cheaper then building it

Pretty standard I don't see anything wrong. The PSU will run everything fine ( I seen quad core + HD 5770 set ups on a 400W corsair PSU). I dunno about you but in north america, WD and Seagate tend to have much better performance over samsung when it comes to hard drives. And they are a cheaper price too. Also becareful of OCZ brand of ram for some boards. For certain AMD boards it will not go over 1066 mhz stable. Also read newegg. A guy phoned in OCZ for issues and they actually said "no support for AMD", which was kinda fail since they bundled him a motherboard with those ram sticks lol There seems to be lots of duds on this particular ram http://www.newegg.co...N82E16820227478
FinZeroX
I've worked some things out and this is what I got: The OCZ RAM-modules will be fine. They said on their website that OCZ memory is only supported in 2 DIMMs so if you put 3 or more DIMMs in, it reduces the clock speed to 1066 or lower. I changed to OCZ Gold Series AMD Edition which is designed for AMD mobos because the first set was for Intels' So same RAM-modules but designed for AMD. I'm not sure about the HDD. I haven't heard anything bad about Samsung and in the beginning one finnish PC builder recommended me that. So well see what I'll do with it. I'm looking for a new Graphics Card that would match the need of the newest programs. I'd be glad to receive suggestions that'd cost 100€-200€ And last but not least, I decided to buy some coolers(silent) and a little extra: little leds(blue) to give the PC some look. I got nothing against OCZ, but they seriously facked up their first revision when they advertised it as AMD/Intel. Then they found out it didn't work so great on some of the AMD boards lol and tons of people got stuck with bogus ram (They changed it after that to intel only, but it still fails memtest on many boards). Hopefully this newer AMD version works properly Also its hard to get an RMA if your ram just fails (a friend tried to get it RMAed after that stupid DDR3 AMD incident, but they refuse saying "it must be the motherboard that is having a problem" so we tested it on my motherboard and the ram failed also lol). Haha well nothing bad but I would skip the ecogreen drive just because of its slower speed. But i wonder what your going to use all the memory for =D (2 terabytes of memory? Lots of porn !! ). Pron ftw !!!!!
FinZeroX
Wut, was it 2TB? I don't have enough porn to fill that up! I'm more like finding a 500GB HDD, I prefer external drives because of *krhm* all the legal stuff I have(no, nothing sick or twisted ) So any suggestions? Lol nothing wrong with Samsung but usually I would prefer Western Digital because they have the lowest HD failure rate on the market. Also avoid the eco/green drives for any manufacturer =) (Well just because their speeds are slower. If i wanted "eco" I would have just gotten an SSD lol)
