We named him after a character from George R. R. Martin's Song of Fire and Ice series, due to how he plays the dogs against one another. He likes to hide under the chair (it has frills) and ambush the dogs legs as they pass, then disappear back under. The dogs end up fighting with each other.
*EDIT*
Figured I'd add some background info to Tyrion. About two weeks ago, as I was walking up onto my porch from class (Major in graphic design) I hear this meow, and I look down to see a kitten on my porch. This kitten promptly starts trying to climb my leg. I put him down, and opened my screen door, at which point he walked up to my door and looked at me like "Go ahead, I'm coming in."
We brought him in with the intention of trying to find his rightful home and if that didn't work out we were going to surrender him to a shelter. We have three dogs, and didn't feel that we could handle another animal financially. Well, he kind of grew on us during this time (we kept him in a very large doberman-sized kennel separated from our dogs and let him out for an hour or so in our comp room, away from the dogs), and after failing to find his home (we think he was dumped at this point) we decided to just adopt him. So we took him to the vet and got him his shots and check-up, and blew a sizable chunk of money on cat-things (Scratching post-condo of awesomeness, litter box, etc).
He's settling into our house quite well, and gets along with the dogs great. Isabel, our smallest Pom, has basically taken to him like he was her baby. She's really protective of him, and follows him everywhere. It's cute. It probably wouldn't have worked out if he was a fully-grown cat, but being as he's only nine weeks old he's not set in his ways.
