and 15 mins later--same admin and mostly same players on the next map--again admin name is blurred because this is not meant to embarass him. At least he is on the team with least players, but the teams remain stacked nevertheless --I'm not saying we need a kindergarten cop, just some common sense measures so mixups like what happened to me can be avoided in the future--I still believe that who ever was arguing with anni on the server was impersonating me, because I know it wasn't me .

~ I logged on to the server a few minutes ago to say goodbye to some folks--here is a screenshot of what I saw. This is within the last half hour. This is with a tagged FA admin there playing. I logged off and on a few more times afterwards with same result--no balancing. The admin just probably never realized, so Im not blaming him/her, but clearly this happens sometimes, so IF I was seen in a situation like this it would be better to counsel me first rather than just yank the level with no warning, no comment. I always tried to balance teams and never joined teams with too many players. I blurred the admins name because its not about embarrassing anyone--if there is a burning need to know, pm me and I will tell you. Its possible he tried to get people to move but doesn't know the command to do it, or maybe just didn't check---but it does happen. I still maintain that I never argued with anni or any other admin about stuff like this. I also maintain that I never tried to stack a team or leave a team stacked. ​

If I were hunting for levels I wouldn't have voluntarily stepped down from trial member. You can search the forums for my reason, which had everything to do with my wanting to live up the expectations of a trial member with regard to recruiting. I asked to be made level 2 at that time, nothing more. It was when I was later on the server that one of the admins reset me to level 4 (not because I asked (which I didn't) , but I assume it was because they thought I could handle it). That's not exactly level hunting. What set me off, was being reset down to level 2, finding out about it only when I went to balance teams and saw I couldn't. This happened twice. After the first time I asked the admins that I ran into on the servers if they knew why I had been releveled, no one knew. Finally Audrey was kind enough to reset me. Now a week or so later the same thing happened. Im being told I argued with admins on the server about stacking and the like. I repeat again, I have never had a conversation with any admin about this. I wish I had been contacted either on the server or via pm here, especially since I am being told that this was a constant offense. DF Fighter practically lives on that server. If anyone would be likely to observe such abuse from me, it would certainly be him.

"threats"? sorry, but this is getting way blown out of proportion. I call the server beginner server, I never have called it jay 3 so that is my mistake for thinking it is a different one. Iam denying that I have ever 'stacked" teams, intentionally ignored unbalanced teams, arguing with admins on the server (disguised or not). Iam also denying that I ever "ducked-out" of a server trying not to get caught for something. Those are the facts. I cant be responsible for things I didn't do, especially when there is certainly someone on the servers using my name and colors, in an obvious attempt to make people think he is me. The guy did duckout quickly after I logged in. I wouldn't even have any verification of that if DF Fighter hadn't logged on at the same time and seen it. And yes, you are correct, it wont get better for me if a higher level admin thinks Im a cheater and a liar. Just please at least use this episode as a learning experience--contact players you are so dissatisfied with and tell them, before you punish them. We all make mistakes, and I think this is one. Its just good clan management.

ah, just found it--I never saw that post, if I had, I would have responded to it then. Ive never had level 4 on jay 3. Im not even sure if Ive even played on that server. If I did, it would have only been because there was an issue with my reg server. I sure wish Id seen that post---whoever you were dealing with then wasn't me. Its all water under the bridge now---but I can say Ive never argued with you or anyone on the server about my behavior, and Ive always tried to be respectful here on the forums as well. Im too damn old to act like a kid anymore, lol. anyway, thanks for pointing that post out, it would have been a good opportunity to clear my name back then. Sadly I wont get that chance. Hopefully you'll catch the guy that really was doing it. The guid has always shown on my forum screen so I have no way to know what others see, only what I see. Take care. It's Sad that after this much time I have to leave, but being accused of stacking is the same as being accused of cheating. Now Iam accused of lying about arguing with an admin on the server and ducking out. That's just not me and I'd just as soon start fresh somewhere and hope the same thing doesn't happen to me again. I'll try to log on to the server once more tonight to say goodbye to a few folks there that Ive been playing with a long time--hope that's ok.

My guid is displayed on this forum for all to see--its right there next to my profile on each post. I'm not sure what those screenshots "prove" But that is a secondary point. I have always followed the rules for years here. I have loved playing on the server, which is why I stayed, even with my plus 200 ping. I have never stacked teams, and never deliberately ignored unbalanced teams. With my arthritis and refusal to use adren I already am at a disadvantage--Iam not exactly a player out to do the most kills, many times I am the worst. I have seen plenty of examples of unbalanced teams that likely just weren't noticed at the time by regular admins showing their tags--mistakes like that will happen, I'm not going to freak out about those either. You say you discussed this with me "countless" times. I have no memory of even one time ANY admin contacted me either on the server or on the forums with a problem with my behavior. I hope maybe some players here who know me on the beginner server would step up and back me up on this. Iam at least grateful for DF Fighter for at least confirming the shogun impersonator we both saw a few weeks ago. I am confident enough in my own personal integrity to know my memory is not that bad. As a former ET clan owner myself years ago (Google Clan), I know how hard it is to keep things honest and even--but I also knew that it was only a matter of good sense to at least try to contact a player, esp if they are on the forums to either coach them or reprimand them, not just demote their level in the dark of night. If someone had done this right away, I might have been able to prove more easily that who you were seeing wasn't me. That's only common courtesy and good clan practice. Some players aren't very active, and you cant find them, but as a donator, former trial member and active player for 4 years, someone who keeps getting asked by other clan members to reapply for trial. I was at least owed that much. I will go find somewhere else to play. I wish everyone here much luck. Iam sorry I have to leave because of such a misunderstanding and server identity issues. I do not blame you, I just wish things had been handled differently, this might have been avoided. ​

oh, and I never asked for level 4, it was given to me after I stepped down from being a trial member (voluntarily). But while I had it, I never abused it. ever. Nor was I ever coached or counseled on its use because I was doing something wrong. I have tried to participate here as much as a 58 year old dude can, and try to donate from time to time. I have no reason to piss off you or any other admin with stupid behavior like you are describing. It just wasn't me.

I don't recognize any of those undercover names you posted, but I would certainly remember any conversation on the server with an admin of that nature. When DF and I saw that shogun imposter he tried to get his guid but he disconnected too quickly. I have no reason to lie. I don't think you do either, I honestly think you were observing and communicating with another player, I'm guessing the same imposter, He used the same screen name and colors. Was I connected to the server when you leveled me down?

Is there a way to look up the guid of the player you had these conversations with?

Wow--I respectfully disagree that any of this happened. At least with me. There was another shogun imposter running around the server that DF Fighter can verify. I haven't seen you on the server in a long time and I certainly haven't had any conversation like that, with you or any admin or player, either recently or anytime in the last 4 years Ive never been contacted either on server or on the forums about this. I purposefully join the team with the fewest players. Iam actually stunned and would ask someone to review the logs for this conversation between us. I honestly thnk you have the wrong man. I can tell you I have NEVER argued with an admin. Never. .

It would be great if any admin that has an issue with me would pm me and let me know the problem. I've had my level 4 removed twice now in the last 2 weeks with no warning and no pm explaining why. Its getting tiresome trying to guess what I did wrong, but after 4 years on the server I think that I at least deserve an explaination. If I pissed off a high enough admin that has the ability to level people, I would expect at least some communication from them. I m really at the point of leaving the server all together. Not that it really would matter but I figured Id at least try to find out why, and perhaps why they wanted to do it without even a word to me about it. Thanks ​ Shogun (aka Walter Mitty)

I've played on both. Today it was on Beg 1. No, I resigned from trial as I was not good at recruiting--I had gone over 6 months without recruiting anyone--I doubt I'd be any better now, but thanks for the offer. Just so we're clear, I didn't say there were no admins on--there usually are, but usually they are not above level 12. Today for instance there was 1 or two level 12's on but they don't have !shuffle, and I doubt they wanted to spend their time moving 5 or 6 players around--frankly, in today's instance they didn't even seem to notice the stacking, one game score ended at ~3000 to ~1900. I suggested in open chat that someone do a shuffle but no response from the admins so I'm guessing they knew they couldn't do it so didn't respond. I can see it happening once, but 3 games in a row it was like that. The admins do a good job overall--they are polite and friendly.
