Bosman Posted May 29, 2012 Posted May 29, 2012 (edited) Got on Netflix the memorial day to check out the ultimate weapons season one. Very cool! They discuss the features and benefits of many guns and several are in the cod4 game. One that i drool over and hope to see in black ops II is the top rated gun at the current time called the Kriss Super V, it was designed with a special system for dramatically minimizing recoil, its far more advanced than any gun in that regard. It has been clocked at 1500 rounds per min but has been brought down to 1100 rpm by Kriss. It looks way diff than anything i've seen. Here is the gun manufacturers site in usa, they also have an international site. http://www.kriss-usa.com/ here a couple more pages you can use to check it out. There are diff mountable options like a glock pistol, a nade launcher, and more http://www.cornershot.com/ here is a video of it in use Edited May 29, 2012 by Bosman Quote
Rabidraccoon Posted May 30, 2012 Posted May 30, 2012 (edited) The recoil of the weapon is directed downward instead of toward the user. Less recoil. This is (the Kriss) actually available in Canada as a restricted weapon. I would have thought they would have made it prohibited. $2000 here. Edited May 30, 2012 by Rabidraccoon Quote

PiNoY Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 Kriss gun or not, I think whatever gun I used, my actual problem is my aiming skills, or maybe its the mouse am using. Quote
Rabidraccoon Posted May 31, 2012 Posted May 31, 2012 I think we are close to par for our dollars. I know when I went to Vegas for my semi-annual pilgrimage, I just looked at prices as the same. The hard part is shipping them out of or into the country. We have a licensing system that works in parts. First you get a license and that will get you permission to purchase non-restricted firearms. Basic long guns. Then you can get a Restricted license, that's most pistols and more long guns. And finally Prohibited License, that allows you to own automatic weapons and pocket pistols. Prohibited license is almost impossible to get. Usually a grandfathered license. I have a Restricted, so I can buy handguns and assault rifles. But the funny thing is, I can own them but I can only transport them from my house to the gun range and back. That's it. And only the one range I have permission for. Very Restricted. LOL I use it just to keep my accuracy up. Quote
Bosman Posted May 31, 2012 Author Posted May 31, 2012 discovery.com also gave the mp7 2nd place so thats no slouch either. I am guessing Kriss taking over the top spot in the short time they have made guns will get some manufacturers motivated, i'd expect so really cool stuff to come out. The thing is the military no doubt has some sick guns no one knows about, those are the ones i want to see! Quote
