Raziel 1008 Posted April 15, 2012 I receive huge lag spikes whenever the announcer in-game says something, like "dynamite defused", "captured the forward bunker", "firing-for-effect" etc.

0 SunLight 3427 Posted April 15, 2012 hmm... seems enough, so my guess was maybe wrong (but I have com_soundmegs 128)... while playing you can type /s_list to see how much sound memory is allocated, and which sounds are loaded. if you see it's almost full, raise com_soundmegs do you have that lag only for those sounds you mentioned? 0 jaie 582 Posted April 15, 2012 Is it the same with jaymod?
0 Raziel 1008 Posted April 15, 2012 1. It's also on Jaymod 2. I meant all sounds the announcer makes, all objective related things and the like.
0 ecLipse~ 375 Posted April 16, 2012 you could always turn announcer off. cg_announcer
0 daredevil 18418 Posted April 16, 2012 Nvidia GPU? What's u GPU? Under 3D Settings -> Manage 3D settings -> Program settings, for WolfET, turn "Threaded Optimization" off (in lieu of On or Auto).
0 Raziel 1008 Posted April 16, 2012 It seems to be solved, "threaded optimization" was off but I turned it again off.
