CoLiMuS Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 Whenever I join to any punkbuster enabled server, I get this message saying that you have an invalid GUID, this might be a temporary problem and you should try recconnecting. For example I can join FA noquarter servers, but can't join FA recruiting XPS. I have tried to do pb_cdkeyreg, but it doesn't help. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Chuckun Posted October 15, 2011 Share Posted October 15, 2011 If you still receive problems after adding new etkey, add this to your config: pb_cl_enable 1; pb_system 1; It will make sure your PB client reads the etkey and gives you a resulting GUID. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Failing that, type into console: /pb_cl_enable 1; pb_system 1; reconnect Chuckun PS: If connecting to a genuine PB Enabled server, then you wont be able to connect without an old GENUINE GUID.. I think Jay3 is pb enabled? PPS: Make sure etkey is present in /etmain/ folder - recently someones was deleted without their consent..
