Thank you for this. Is this mod sensitive? I really only play FA servers here so Just do it each time or do i need to get all file edity? EDIT: did it on one server and seems to have worked on all of them Maxxing 90 fps zero lag whatsoever. THANK YOU!

Hi anyone checking. Im having connection issues and some mad FPS problems getting 20-50fps no matter what setting I try. I'm still trying stuff. Any suggestions? I don't know any cvars cept for the fov one anymore. Dont know whats allowed or not either. I know it seems to be worse whenever im looking over a large area of the map even if i can't actually SEE the area. OR Whenever massive amounts of events are occurring IE: arty strikes and explosions. Again, I dont need to see the events to be FPS affected by them. Occurs inside too. Now I had a crap computer before over 10+ years ago and it was more fluid than this. Could it possibly BE simply the steams version?

I remember a guy I used to duo public servers with on Oasis specifically, Daskampfschaf , told me the Germans had different attire in his game than the dull gray ones with the .. euhh. logos.. as you state. I cant remember if he ever showed a screenshot or not. It was just a casual dude i know.. maybe not even a dude.. *mind blown* anyhow.. long story short, I heard about these conditions because of the sensitivity issues even back then. Do you remember if Return to castle Wolfenstein also had such conditions in germany?

Yes! I was like ' I swear the health packs had red on them but... obviously not!' When I first moved into my own place back in 2001 I was playing Tribes most the time, but soon a sthis came out, hardcore from 2003 to like 2007, I was playing ET minimally 3-4 hrs a day. I would just SIT in spectator watching ppl play. Ex beta tester , my mind worked different. I'd rather watch than play. Kinda still do.

Yup. It is the best prescription for fevers i hear. Yeah looks like I started 14 years ago.. Holy smokes! I barely remember many names. I DO think i remember you at least once. I was usually sitting in spectator watching people to make sure they weren't cheating most the times. Believe it was because I did that, many could play normally and I'd keep the eyes open. i was always recording my games so even if i THOUGHt i saw something, I could review afterwards. I'm sure that is why i have that level 12 status. Feel free to change as needed. I believe i have been woefully neglect in my duties the past almost decade lol. I can take it, sir! 😄 To be honest Baska was one of the main people I hung around with, remember a Joe Dirt too. Indeed, am very glad to see things still running here to be honest. Runnin the game now shouldn't be a concern and I have a mic so there's that too. Oh I'm getting it knowing its on steam. Awesome.. its freaky I forgot all about the game here, until I just now, well at time of that post there, clicked New To You on youtube and found a video of a dude talking about dead games and .. Wolfenstein was on it. Coolest part, he was on the clans servers for it. Theres the link and the timestamp is already preset so u can just click and go. It was teh beginners 2 server. Strangely enough, Im a superstitous man and something seems to indicate I should return my gaze towards ET here.

Hello. Been a while since I played and been thinking about whats going on on Enemy territory lately. Is there still servers to play on? Not sure anyone'd even remember me to be honest but it'd still be cool to try and come back again. Soon as I find a version of the game that can play on modern systems. Ok.. Going to have to try and remember how to find my ET key.. I DID save the etkey file from before.. so I suppose anyone with a decently high admin status can check mine and either let me know what it is now, or tell me how to get it so i can update my currently listed info. As for my avatar... I hope no one else is using this.. Its been kind of my favorite avatar for many many years, but I'm not owning exclusive rights to it.. I can find another Cowbell. Thank you Yoyo.. I am glad we can start fresh and new again. I was a little obnoxious at time back then.. so I'm accepting my own mistakes as what they were.. mistakes. I apologize even if its water under the bridge. I'll get on TS and ask around as to how to get myself back up to Par on the mandatory aspects, re-read the rules and make sure I 100% FULLY understand them before attempting to enforce them upon others. Simple things like ' Don't mess with team mortars' and 'Dont push teammates off high places' is kind of simple to notice.. I need to re-learn the more subtle rulings so as to NOT make the same mistakes I did before.. and the semi-chaos between Clanmates that ensued. I heard Jay2 needed some more people overlooking it.. It will be my first 'tour of duty' once I get back up to speed on what i need to do in order to be F|A again.. I will, however , remain Untagged until I can get everything in order.. so I will work as fast as I can to get things proper.

Hello Everyone. I'm back! After an almost 3 year Haietus, ( well my brother died so I didnt feel like gaming much) I found my way back into the ET domain again. Thanks to =F|A=TamponPope* for reminding me to get on the forums here and reactivate my account and post about me coming back.. I never left, but will remain untagged until told expplicitly to do so. I do not recall being removed from the Group.. but it could have happened because of my abscence.. and don't wish to rock the boat. Aside from this.. My goal is to finally get back to playing. Had some Punkbuster issues 'Distressed Punkbuster' alert in game.. leading to a PB INIT FAIL message once kicked. Simply disabled PB from the Server list window and seems to have done the trick. ANyhow.. its been a while and I realize that things have changed, but I still see a few people I remember so.. Hope my reputation helps grease the wheels perhaps. If not.. always good to start from scratch and work back up.. Its the trip, not the destination, right? At any rate, looking forward to relearning the game and strategies again.. probably find me noobing it up on beginners 1 and 2 for a while.. maybe recruiters til I work the fundamentals. Until then.. see you in the slaughterhouse!

Well.. there IS always the aspect that one CAN have more than 1 instance of ET installed ( simply copy and pasting the whole folder into another location makes a new installation.. great for backups) just score an old copy of Jaymod and put it in your client and try it that way. Just one option ... Personally, I never found an issue with any demos old or new. I just made a new folder in the Main folder called 'demos'(the folder that has Etmain, Jaymod, PB in it that is. Make the new folder in there.). Strangely enuff The Program didnt make the demos folder for there, BUT the ET startup and Main screen have the replays option available. They didnt complete the programming for it. I put the demo in that newly created folder, start ET, go straight to Replays and run it from there. To date, Ive never had a demo i couldnt view using this method.

Ive been playing alot of Lord of the Rings Online. I have to admit, for the free player, there is quite ALOT of things available that will keep one busy for months on a daily basis. As it is, to have a KINSHIP ( clan or group coined name) all one needs is to have someone have at least 8 registered people( Free to play is STILL registered), however for true benefits, its good for the leader to be a VIP ( paying member) to open up ALL the Kin related options. I was never a Lord of the rings fan even when the movies came out, but as far as MMORPG's go. This ones top notch for graphics , ease of comprehension on game dynamics.. a few others that basically are just my own opinions. Its 3rd person to 1st person so it actually tightrope walks the FPS genre a tiny bit. Much group related activities as well as the standard solo play. Theres even an alternative called MONSTER PLAY, where you can actually fight in Raids against the Humans/Elves and other races. Only problem is THIS part is a VIP ( paying member) option. By the way, membership to VIP is only about 10$ a month and u can even use debit and pre-paid cards for those who dont HAVE credit cards but have money. Visa, Mastercard even Discovery ( WHAT? a group that DOES use this?), so it is rather easy for anyone to get in there.. and once you VIP.. you'r automatically lcked into a membership wher even if you stop paying, certain options are STILL left open.. as a way of saying thank you for what yu did give. The Social community is quite pleasant almost all the time, of course it always has its Troll'ers, but ya find more often than not people gang up on THEM just to shut them up so they can continue to play. Theres alot more.. but Its really a game that has to be experienced, and its 100% free right now til arund lvl 30. 99% of the options for F2P are also the exact same options even if u paid.. so.. dont membership then start.. start first enjoy the F2P experience and if u wanna go further, THEN pay. Thanks all! I got a question though. I havent been told to put tags on yet and havent done so either, so I was just wondering if I was able to now? I havent been on when anyone has been able to change my levels on Recruiting and Jay2 servers so Ive left my name alone. My level is 8 on Beginners, but it would look odd to have tags on one and not the others. Is it okay to tag up and just wait for someone to set me to whatever my levels shuld be for those servers? I saw my profile here says ET member, but unless I misunderstood Wolf, which I probably did, I thought I had to wait to be allowed to put them again on since it had been a while since I was last on and making this thread was a starting step. Maybe Im being over cautious, but I didnt wanna jump a gun early.

Hey everyone.. Been about 6 months since I was around. I dont want to get into too much of the details, but I blew a kidney back in Early October and it lead to other 'complications'.. and I'm still coming to terms with those myself and dont really feel comfortable getting into them just yet online. I'm finally at home now and on a PC ( I freakin hate laptops, but I'll take what i can get) Needless to say , I just want to get back in as much as I can with the regular routine and hope Im not treated like an invalid now My fingers and eyes work just fine so stay outta my crosshairs. I have a few things I need to get taken care of though. I just finished talking to wolf in beginners and he suggested i post this 'Return' topic and get things done through here. I need to get that ET GUID for my profile here though. I had Smee Again help me get mine, but the screenshot attempt made my PC lock up and didnt get it. Its 8 digits right? i need to get that again. Levels are fine on Beginners Im lvl 8 there.. but im lvl 0 everywhere else. That can be done in time. Is there anything else I need to get in order before I can officially be 'back'?
