kristy Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Yes, here's another problem I have with Win7. I was on vent today, and my mic broadcasts normally the first few minutes I'm in vent. Suddenly, my mic broadcasts extremely loud, very bad static. To fix this, I have to either restart Vent or switch out mics. And even that doesn't always work. Baska tried helping on teamviewer, but it didn't work. There must be some people out there with Win7 and using vent just fine-how'd you do that? And before you ask, yes, I'm using administrator and tried switching the compatibility mode to XP service pack 2. Still didn't work. I officially hate Win7. And now a word from Baska (who's still on teamviewer!): HELP HER CUZ WHEN SHE WANA SAY SMTG WE ALL GONA GET HEART ATTACK CUZ SHE SOUNDS FIURHFGUAHSDFGHADFHGUIHAUIDHGJKADHGJKAHNVBJKADHFJKHADGHUJDHAGQHGAJHDFJAHGHJAD FUKEN LOUD ... I3lessed Posted July 29, 2010 Posted July 29, 2010 Hmm I dunno I never had problems with vent or ts with windows 7 :S the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is if you have a program for controlling your mic, for instance I use IDT Audio, maybe your settings are messed up in your control program. OnionKnight Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 I had a problem like that a while back but i restarted my comp and I haven't had that issue in 2 months. Also if your volume is too high: Right click the volume button in the bottom right, click recording devices, Click on your mic and then go to properties. Then go to the levels tab and alter the "microphone boost". Quote
KevinBacon Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Yeah, Win 7 + vent user with no problems... Quote
