I had no idea that the hobby's machines had gotten so complex.  It looks like they are having competitions for, or demonstrations of the various types.

these are awesome! I've long wanted to get into rc airplanes / etc. These have come a long way :)

 

I inherited a gas-engine rc plane, no remote though so its decor for now. Maybe someday
