That wasn,t first time today when i tried to connect to F|A Recruiting XP save server i went to bathroom while my computer connected and when i come back what do i see , : nice, some new maps in here.... no no no hold up , thats not even the server I was trying to connect , i was in some kind of *(S)TAATS$CHUTZ.0rgXPSAVE , never connected there myself and why did i get connected there.Why is it like that?Am i onlyone with that kind of thing ??

Not sure how you got in that server, how did you connect, via F|A menu or somehow else?

As a short term solution, try connecting with console, do /connect ip:port where ip and port are the ip and port number of the server you want to connect to, they can be found here.

Today i picked F|A Recruiting from Jaymod menu , first time i tried to connect with IP and i found myself there again

Seems you got that fake .pk3 somehow. Just try running Medic's cleaner and you should get the real F|A menu. Look up here.

This is interesting topic. I know at least two players that have connected there while trying to connect to a completely different IP. They used this path: start ET -> play online -> connect to IP -> press OK. Then the game connected to that exact same server. I know one player who said he accidentally connected there through the masterlist. I didn't get very clear description and it is possible that this relates to the exact same thing.

 

I have never heard before that it would have happened from pressing the menu or when manually writing /connect IP in the console.

 

All the occurences I have counted have connected to that same server. I have not searched anywhere about this thing, just though about some minor bug in the etmain. So this topic caught my eye here.

 

Ps. The IP of the occurences I have counted is completetly different from the server people connect. So are the F|A servers IP addresses.

LZ clan is copying our server names with difference of one letter. Just a bunch of low level server admins.

Indeed.

 

They run redirect servers and copy popular servers' names. These servers appear to be filled with 39/40 or 49/50 players, but when someone connects to the "server", they are instead sent to LZ's pathetic server. They did the same to BBA and DRi by calling their redirects "<BBB>" and "Elite Noobies XP Save".

 

Low-level server admins for sure.

Or maybe these staatsscutz owners are some kind of haxors and they have hacked ET to get more players to their server lol , but anyway , thanks for your replies
