Apologizes if this is answered elsewhere but I wasn't able to find a solution.

I'm using my laptop to play ET, but the screen is very small so I hooked up a second monitor. I would like to play ET on the monitor and be able to browse the forums on the laptop. I got ET on the monitor with alt+enter but I can't make it full screen (alt+enter again moves it back to my laptop). And when I try to play the small ET on the monitor, every time I click the mouse it switches me out of the window to my non-ET cursor.

Is there anything I can do to play ET full screen on the monitor and still be able to use the laptop for other windows?

This should help ya out from what I've seen:

I might be wrong, but my guess would be that you'll have to play ET windowed.

I use 2 monitors. I play ET on my HD monitor and can browse the internet, etc on the other. I figure a laptop would work the same way buy extending your monitor, then ID'ing which is which and setting the resolution for each in display settings

I usually play windowed so I never ran into this issue, but it appears ET defaults to your main display. You can change this in the "Screen Resolution" screen (Right click your desktop --> Screen Resolution). Once there, select your second display and mark the checkbox that says "Make this my main display".

No mspaint explanation below. Too bad because I was proud of my hand-drawn arrows.
