Carbonautics Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Hey, I just downloaded some new workshop content to try it out including some weapons, maps, etc,. but i'm stuck at the main menu? I open the game to try the map out, i dont see an option to load it and play on it locally(solo). I would like to learn how to load workshop content in insurgency on my pc. Thank You, Carb Quote
Carbonautics Posted April 24, 2017 Author Posted April 24, 2017 what mods are they. It isn't mod, they are just maps and guns for the game. I just want to play on a map locally on my pc, i need to know how i would do that. Quote
Krusnik87 Posted April 24, 2017 Posted April 24, 2017 The workshop items were successfully downloaded and installed, right? If so, at least to play on the new maps, You'll have to do as bellow: 1) select solo 2) mode of party ya want (conquer, survival...) 3) clic on the gearing 4) select your map Depending on the map you've downloaded, some are not avaible in all modes. E.G: some are playable only in hunting mission. 1 Quote

Carbonautics Posted April 28, 2017 Author Posted April 28, 2017 Sorry, didn't know there was a reply, was busy lately, and no the maps aren't showing up in solo gearing. It shows in the subscribed part of the menu, but not a option to play it, it was successfully downloaded and installed. Quote

Having downloaded maps from workshop, you should have the new maps downloaded in this folder: blablabla\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\maps\workshop. Copy paste these maps to this folder: blablabla\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\maps WHen playing in solo mode, open console and write: map nameofyourmap for example: map vietnam_b4 (if you have downloaded this map ofc) _____________________ For the rest, try out to go to this folder: blablabla\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom\workshop And delete everything there. Go to Steam => Steam library Right click on Insurgency => properties => Local Files => Verify the integrity of files of the game. It should help you out with your second problem. _____________________ If with this you still got problem, i'll need more time to try out few things and see how to solve your issue. 1 Quote

Ok, well the stuff about a workshop folder was in case these maps weren't in your "main map folder". With the command "map" in console, could you do something? Or did it fail? 1 Quote

Krusnik87 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I guess i succeeded in fulfilling your initial request To be honest Dunno if it's even possible to display workshop maps on main solo menu. Well i won't be strict with such statement as I didn't look into this too much. Anyway, glad I could help. Have fun and see you on =F|A= servers. 1 Quote
