Ogi Posted June 28, 2010 Share Posted June 28, 2010 i instaled on my computer oryginal windows about 3 months ago i thought i could dl wolfenstein and play like old times i found server when i was playing year or 2 years ago (FA) and than it started i had much problems with grafic but i was searching all forums about wolfenstein to explain it finally i found the problem it just needed to turn of "GL extensions" and thats all i could play normally but after 2 weeks punkbuster started kicking me cuz of GL extension - he said that i must match it but when i do it i cant play whereever i see shadows nothink more to say also when i turn of punkbuster i cant join server help me pls , how to tell punkbuster that GL extensions turned off is good ???? Antimony Posted June 29, 2010 Share Posted June 29, 2010 I too faced same problem Press ` to pull down console (key below esc) Type this in console to turn on extensions. /seta r_allowExtensions "1" If you join a server, PB gives you 2 min to turn on extension before it kicks you. So you need to be quick. PS : Turning on extensions gives a boost to fps in ET. Th difference is nearly 20 - 40 fps. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ogi Posted June 29, 2010 Author Share Posted June 29, 2010 (edited) ok i typed it in game and it was telling me that it will change when restarting the game so PB kicked me after minute THE STORY: 1. extensions "0" joining a game typing /seta r_allowExtensions "1" telling me that will change only with restart and PB kicking me after 1 minute... Ogi Posted June 30, 2010 Author Share Posted June 30, 2010 (edited) NQ i play only NQ servers i will try vid restart and will see yep checked - vid reset makes that extens change to 1 but it shits* my grafic still shadows... i rlly need to have gl extensions ON if not i have shit grafic cant see anythink when move ;/ so if u have time try to find how unblock gl ext "0" on punkbuster.
