PB Problem

Hello ,

 

I have a problem with punkbuster , when i go to pb server it will like freeze and show me that ET.exe there is dont send and stuff . I have updated my pb and im running on a 2.60b . Game works fine in non pb servers . Ive tried to search but I couldnt find anything .

I tried it but it doesnt work I have a windows XP .

put this file on your etmain folder, start ET and open the console and type this: trust.cfg

\exec trust.cfg

 

also if you updated your punkbuster restart your pc please, not log off thing but a real restart

Still same . but u can move mouse like 3 sec and then it throws that error .

 

EDIT : I got an error in game and then it throw me out ; Punkbuster client: WARNING: PB kicks for non-stardand characters an level 1 PB Restrictions on this ... and more i dont see on screen .

I tells that to everyone. You may have not noticed it before, but whenever you join to the server, it will tell you that.

remove from your name ascii characters and set your name in standard letters. go to Wolfenstein Folder under:

Jaymod

Etpub

etpro

noquarter

Didnt work , but im not sure what ascii characters are .

Basically ASCII character is a letter, number or any other sign (* / - + ^ & * ). PB kicked you because you were using non standard characters like š,ć,đ, Î, Ö, ß, Þ etc.

Thanks , but it didnt help I named myself "trust" without the quotemarks , that shouldnt be wrong , right ?

delete Profiles folder and start your game again

 

now you will have to create new profiles with new name so this time use name with regulars character

I Have tried this but with no sucsess , it doesnt let me to play on server cuz pb version is old , if I update this then i got same error what now .
