Popular Post LeftWingVixen Posted June 21, 2016 Popular Post Posted June 21, 2016 As I stated a few weeks ago, I was interviewed by a Portland Tribune journalist on a concerning issue - being misogyny. The reporter interviewed a female comedian, a female writer, a female gamer (me), and a female construction worker. Also with some women being fellow sex workers. Of course, I addressed my home-game, Wolfenstein. I'm VERY grateful I got front page of this issue as well (me being the one doing the pole-trick! The head shot is the lovely Elle). Koen Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Interesting read, well done on the interview . I have noticed that while women in gaming atleast do seem to receive more attention in general, they also receive more hate, and that is judging on what I can see in the main chat. It is stupid to judge based on gender in my opinion, but sometimes I think, and this is especially true in gaming, that men don't really know how to deal with women. That's definitely no excuse for being an a**h**** though. 1 Quote
Vetter2003 Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Nice article Vix, way to represent Wolfenstein! Secondly I'm deeply disturbed by some of the issues you brought to light in the article. The way you've been treated and talked about is just wrong and its sad that that kind of thing goes on! YOUR a strong, smart, and beautiful woman! 2 Quote
Raskin Posted June 22, 2016 Posted June 22, 2016 Strength has no gender....you are beautiful....everyone escapes reality..in their way..playing a role on this earth..nothing is new..there are doers,and....critics trying to impose upon you their values..if someone thinks you are provocative..you made your point. .....meet criticism with glee..makes me laugh 1 Quote

boki Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Maybe try search type -> misogyny news Portland Oregon and choose site.. Nope, Entire portlandtribune.com is not working, can't even open the home page. I think they have their securitiy settings on paranoid level. According to the message, this is an issue on their side, they need to relax their firewall settings. Are you telling me, you folks from within USA can open the site and see the article? Quote
Raskin Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Yes..I can open article..guess security..what are you hiding Portland? Quote
