The command I found concerning the perk was /perk_armorvest, and the default value for it is 75. If the command can be used to alter the server without modding it, I propse lowing the value from 75 to somewhere from 35-45. Reasoning: I think every person whos been a sniper could agree with me how frustrating juggernaut is. More than half the shots I've done against juggernaut users have not resulted in a kill, even with a high chest shot, close range. At the very least, 2/3rds of my shots getting a kill on juggernaut would be bearable. Second, no matter how much armor you're wearing, if I shoot you in the face, you should die. Juggernaut can let a guy survive two (sometimes 3) shots to the head, which is annoying for everyone. Lastly, Juggernaut doesn't balance with it's polar opposite, stopping power. Juggernaut should be able to counter the benefits of that perk, not exceed them. Quote

I play on Hardcore and one shot with a 50 cal Barret kills every time, without having to use stopping power. :-P Quote

Higgeo Posted April 4, 2010 Posted April 4, 2010 Jugga is a bit anoying and is not a depiction of skill. I dont know if we can remove this with out having the server un ranked. I would also like to see the 3 nades perk removed as grenade spam is anoying. Quote

I would also like to see the 3 nades perk removed as grenade spam is anoying. lol, like this in the end there will be no perks what so ever to use. that is the point of perks, is to help you out. every perk helps you in one way or another. the only 2 that annoy me are marty and last stand, b/c both of them don't take skill. Also, I went searching for a command to disallow certain perks without modding, based on a statement that Thomas made about a server that wouldn't let you pick a class that had martrydom or last stand. I believe I might have found an answer, though I'm not sure. The following is a list of commands for allowing specific perks. I believe they shouldn't mod the server if used. Blackops Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Why do people complain about juggernaut so much ? I mean I kill them just as easy as I would kill anyone else. Sure it takes a few more bullets, but I've never found them to be irritating. What I do find irritating is someone with juggernaut and last stand, I have to unload a full clip on them just to kill them. I dont really find it noobish I just see it as them making me work really hard to kill them. Juggernaut can be a really useful perk if you use it properly. Quote
General Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Juggernaught is VERy annoying. I shot a guy in the neck, then the foot, he turns around and LMG sprays me before i get the chance for 3rd shot (M40A3) And you know, if i shot your ass with a real M40A3, you'd have no ass. Quote

Overall, banning jugger is a great idea one thing that you have to keep in mind is that Juggernaut is not just have balance vs snipers, but balance vs all play times. 75 vs 40 are clearly not the same numbers, but a good sniper with the right gun should get kills. Almost all of my shots with a m14 are one shot one kills, and that is not even a sniper rifle. Juggernaut is also to balance vs double tap in close quarters fighting. And than the 75 extra health does not seem like so much. Quote
