Crazy stuff..  That seems like a pretty big set back for these guys..

sadly ....yes it wil most likely mean a set back for the private space industry ....the problem seems to be with the new fuel that they switched to from the previous kerosine and nitrous combo that they had been using ...it will definatly push back thier commercial lauch considerably , especially with orbital research's explosion on take off earlier this week

Well, the Wright brothers crashed about 100 times before they got it to work.

 

In the 50's they blew up about 300 rockets before they got one to fly right.

 

They crashed 3 Saturn 5/Apollo rockets before it took the guys up.

 

So keep on going Virgin.  Go baby, go !
