Buckwild Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 High Admins want rules for certain Enemy Territory maps to avoid glitches and gaining unfair advantage.Even Members don't know Them all.Map specific rules could be printed onscreen ingame...For each in mapcycle.set d1 "set g_gametype 2 ; map sw_oasis_b3 ; set g_banner1 "^6No TrickPlanting Dynamite Outside Guns"; set nextmap vstr d2"set d2 "set g_gametype 2 ; map warbell ; set g_banner1 "^6No WallJumping To Objective Before 5 Minutes"; set nextmap vstr d3"set d3 "set g_gametype 2 ; map adlernest ; set g_banner1 "^6No WallJumping To Roof"; set nextmap vstr d1" Enemy Territory Rules and Admin rules in wiki could use a more conspicuous link in forums,Instead of being hidden under: Extra Quote
Administrators daredevil Posted September 16, 2014 Administrators Posted September 16, 2014 They are hidden under extra because even with high resolution HD screens there is so much top level menu can handle. More or less people also visit from 14 inch laptop screens or 720p screens. All of our trial members are required to go through wiki and if they don't they get denial sooner or later anyways. We also send random mass PM to make them aware of rules. Rules are available through website front page. http://fearless-assassins.com/ They are also available on how to apply link. Even after that someone tells me it's hidden after being on trial for 6 months then I just deny there app. You can't make anyone to read something which they don't want to. We also have banners and the example rotation which you had posted is no good for bigger servers. It sometimes cause crashes for some reason. You can't put all things which you do for smaller servers. Ball game changes a lot in many areas. I believe every server has rules against avoid glitches and gaining unfair advantage. Quote
