MoHawk Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Guys, I have decided to leave the clan, I know I'm on trial, but here's the problem, I'm not on often and when i am , there are trial members touting for new members ,this is so they can meet your criteria and with me competing It feel's like I'm spending more time trying to rustle up new members and spamming each game so I can get my tags full time, than enjoying the game. which is the main reason I play. So I shall remove the tags, and drop on to the game server, and hope you all say Hi when you see me StormyUK signing out
speedfact Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Welp if thats how you feel, sorry to see ya go. Though you dont have to dedicate your whole gaming time to gettin recruits...I mean you got plenty of time to get a recruit and enjoy trial.
Thundercats Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I say stick it out. Recruiting is important yes but you just need to find another way to do then setting up binds. Start getting to know a person and then ask them personally to join instead of harassing them. Thats how i get people to join. 1

As I explained Speedfact Im not on enough but thanks for the support.
Stanky Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Hey Stormy, sounds like you're set on this but consider this before you check out entirely. 1) There is no requirement for how often you are on 2) Recruiting is a fickle thing. most times the people who you have sent to sign up don;t remember who you were even and name someone else. So you;re not cutting in on anyone's recruit - besides, we all win with new members so no biggie there 3) The people who worked to recruit you and have put time and effort into helping you learnm the ropes (if you're like me anyways) didn't bail on you so maybe you should stick around for them. After all, they have a stake in your continued participation 4) FA is weaker without you. The loss of a good member, howevere small their participation, takes away from the community. I've seen one member quit and it was sad and, I felt, unecessary. It's an internet gaming group for cryin out loud not an internation banking conglomerate. Our obligations are soimply to enjoy and help others do the same. Stick around! And drop any feeling that you're not meeting expectations - it a whole lot funner that way. Okay, that's my spiel. Hope you change your mind. 6
Thundercats Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 its doesnt matter how much you are on. You can get on once a week if thats what you want. But if you have made your final decision we all understand. things might change in a couple months. You have 6 months to recruit someone
Ktom Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Stormy, I have felt the same way for a while. I couldnt get on hardly at all. I know it feels like you have to recruit as fast as possible, and can feel like a kick in the teeth when others around you seem to be able to recruit so easily, but as the others have said you have plenty of time. Stick it out, it will come eventually (thats what I told myself). everyone understands how impossible it can be at some points as I am sure most have been in the same position. 1
MoHawk Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 Ok I shall Stay in for a while if speed fact is happy with it 4
Thundercats Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Good. Next time reach out to me if you need help 1
ronaldounit0 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I'm glad you decided to stay! One important thing: the guys who have already gotten recruits should be helping you. If you feel as though it's impossible to get a recruit, ask for some help! It's what we're here for. If you still feel this way after reaching out, then something's really really wrong, because we aren't doing what we should to help you and that sucks. Ask for help, we're here 2
Thundercats Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Also congrats on getting your first referral. it pays to just wait it out and see what happens! 3
