250.21 miles per hour. sheeeeesh. then they blew the motor. 2005 HP too, g'damn.

And Buzz, im not really into "super cars" either. a car isnt super until you've built it up from stock. i seen a early '90s civic get kicked out of a muscle car drag race because it was smoking everybody. maaaan that Civic was beastly

It may seem somewhat uncommon, but Gallardos are famous for being tuned by aftermarket companies like Underground Racing and MTM. These companies modify that stock 5.2 V10 with twin-turbo systems for outputs (as seen here) for well over 1000 or even 2000 hp. One might think that this amount of power can't possibly be controlled, but because these Gallardos are AWD, the extra grip will help protect against unwanted spinouts (not sayin' they're not possible though).

However, I don't judge how fast cars are modified. While they are awesome to modify (heck, I did it), one should only be able to brag about how awesome a company is on its STOCK mechanics and appearances. Like I always say:

Sure you may pull up in a 750 HP Civic next to a stock 560 hp Gallardo and win, but at the end of the day, that Gallardo has the potential to do much much MUCH more with his 5.2 than that civic's small 4-cyl. (and for those of you that care more about this, who is the pretty lady at the end of the dragstrip going to choose to go home with?? I thought so. :P )
