SiD Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 Yo. Going back to recording again and wanted to do a review/impressions series. I have 100's of steam games I haven't played and this will give me a way to try them out while providing feedback for new and potential customers. I'll post them in this subforum until, hopefully, we can get a review section. Antichamber Steam: $19.99 Bundled Before?: Twice Lowest Price: 2.99 @ humble store Average Sale Price: $4.99 during steam sales Totally recommended. Quote
Midnight Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 This game was infuriating. I could never figure out where to go, what to do. I like puzzle games, but I could not figure this out. Quote
SiD Posted July 10, 2014 Author Posted July 10, 2014 The biggest problem I found with this game is that thinking along normal standards usually gets you stuck. Most problems are solved by thinking outside of the box. I've seen myself avoid trying something because I thought it was a dumb idea and unconventional and it turns out that it was the right idea all along. 1 Quote
Heretic121 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 I love, and thrive, on thinking outside of the metaphorical box. Now to get this game... Quote
Midnight Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 It wasn't so much thinking outside the box (I do that a lot and was reprimanded several times in my life for doing so, esp the Navy) but the concept of what I was supposed to be doing. I know that I need to escape, but I didn't get what the symbols and rooms meant. I didn't understand how to use any of the surroundings to escape. Quote
ValmirTheGamer Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 I remember when this game came out in Alpha and you could download the trial. It was really fun, Now i wan't the full game! Quote
