Why easy where it could be difficult?

 

I never understood why physicians didn't calculate with the binary system...

I'm American, but I have INFINITE AMOUNTS OF HATRED for non-SI units..... But none of those are the real reason the English system stinks like 4-week old deviled eggs, it's this:

 

SI:

1 N = 1 kg * 1 (m/s^2)

 

English:

1 lbf = 1 lbm * 32.2 (ft/s^2)

 

^This is THE MOST HORRIBLE thing ever made. Sadly, for America to change over to the SI system, it would take trillions of dollars (that we don't have) to reprogram countless machines and rewrite thousands of books and manuals in order to correct this most horrendous of mistakes.
