I lol'd. Yes, your keyboard does actually matter. Though, it just depends on how much typing and such you do. Also, there are a few different types of mechanisms that different keyboards use, some requiring longer button travel and some shorter. It's something I'd look up before going out and buying a new keyboard.. Also, I've got the Razer Deathadder mouse and am quite happy with it, same with my Saitek Eclipse II keyboard.
