dare I forgot to send you the 110_factory script so i put it here :

(I just made the submarine spawn) 110_factory.script

The spawn is activated after the map begin so the first time during the warmup allies will spawn in the submarine.

Where you able to add new spawns also? We need to find the way to add new spawns also. I think we can use Ragnar's battery script as an example to add new spawns. In that script it has new spawns and we can also change the splins? Can you please look into that one also?

For 110_factory, the allies respawn on the submarine but how spline do you want to modify ? ( don't know the map a lot :P )

 

I'll see ragnar script.

Here is the new script I made for 110_factory :

110_factory.script

 

The first time allies will respawn in the submarine (because map initialisation isn't done at once )

 

New spawn on the beach for allies :

Added a player clip on the wall to avoid double jump from the other side with trees (other objects pass through it) :

Also, any update for the making the doors always open? That would be perfecto! :)

I have decompiled the map and I didn't find targetname and scriptname which are used in script, so it not possible with a script : have to recompiled the map but decompilation isn't perfect so it's too long to do it....

I asked for the source file. If they agree then it would be awesome and we can modify it!

I think it will be easier to add spawns etc using the original source map (although I have seen it done in a script for Battery!)

I'm completely off topic, but I followed that tutorial and it was fun and really well done, with all the resources provided, it's a shame that you never completed all the advanced topics as they could cover some pretty nice stuff.

So, I modified 110_factory : 110_factory_test.pk3

 

This is the modifications' list :

-Beach spawn (same for the script) :

-Bunker doors (I modified the first on the image : it's a little wider) :

-Added a platform and made a bigger wall to avoid double jump :

-Added a little part of the wall to avoid double jump + skid to pass the wall :

Nicos when I try to test map on local server it gives me this error:

 

Can't find map maps/110_factory.bsp
