Day 2 running, listen to the sound of the new V6 turbos, I like them a lot

Vettel took the car out and turbo caught on fire.

Checo had a similar issue with his Force India when it started smoking on the track.

New McLaren rear suspension appear to be aggressively directing air to the monkey seat. Look at those wishbones.

McLaren announced that Eric Boullier has been appointed racing director having left Lotus last week. As a hardcore McLaren fan I am a bit conflicted about it. No news on Martin Whitmarsh yet and who would be the new team principal.

Marrusia finally sorted their issue and their car made it to Jerez, hopefully they will be able to run it Thursday.

They sound more throaty, but I definitely liked the sound of the higher rev'ing V8's more. Those things would make the hair on the back of your neck stand up.

I don't keep up with the rules. What was the reason for the motor switch? Are the newer cars faster or slower?

They want to attract more automakers to the formula 1 by using the smaller engines

So any new news of protesting of Maclaren's rear suspensions?

Charlie says its legal, however what happens is that teams will wait until the first race in Australia and then protest to FIA there. See Charlie can say that its legal but he cannot make a ruling, there were many times where he said it was legal and FIA said no. So we wait and see.

They want to have the same performance with a smaller motor that means less fuel consumption
