Danny Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Never listen before them Oo Have you start a complete check with your security program? Quote
Antichrist Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Definitely a virus/malware that hijacked your browser. Start with some scans as Danny suggested Quote
SiD Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Def sounds like you may have an infection. Two things I highly suggest: Superantispyware. Great program for catching some nasty lil' buggers that hide. Then after that, Malwarebytes. Cleans up the remainders. Both are free. http://www.superantispyware.com/ http://www.malwarebytes.org My basic start is check for odd new programs via start/control panel/programs. Check for any weird toolbar apps you can uninstall. Many of those come packed with malware. Afterwards, after having downloaded SAS and MB, run both programs and download the updates. Once both are updated, run the pc in safemode without networking (so your pc can't access the internet) and then run each program on full scan. I always start with Superantispyware first because IMO it catches things a tad better. Then I use Malwarebytes as a clean up program to catch anything SAS may have missed. Once each program is done, they will ask you to restart the pc. I would then do a second scan with at least SAS to make sure nothing survived. 1 Quote
Danny Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Heh?? Before he talk about the problem, I had never hear/listen from the problem. Because of this I thought, thats a virus and so I saw, I am not alone with this meaning Quote
redy. Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 also download 'hijack this': http://www.hijackthis.de/en and let the website analyze the log. This tool checks everything running on your box. Quote
*Ursula* Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I had that problem too. But the virus scanner whas the problem. It's now oké. Look your scanner. Good luck *Ursula* Quote
Platonic Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 I had something like this, and it was in my extensions (chrome). Delete any extensions you didn't install yourself, could be a big help as well. And if you get the exact url, insert it into google and see if you can find any turorials on removing. Only necessary if antivirus doesn't find it, of course. Quote
