It's not a dead topic actually,and unfortunately you have to here,as nobody seems to be looking further than the latest post..somebody in your clan said I was allowed to bump a topic..some Indian dude it was.

 

This topic was started 24th Nov,It is now 10th Dec..still no reply.

 

I think if I never did bump,this topic would never be answered..swamped by topics for instance there is twenty three replies to a topic made only nine days before..here there is none,you're the first F|A to even reply and it's to tell me to stop bumping lol

 

Not trying to start an argument here or be cheeky..I needed to explain my actions.

It's a novelty map..I'd rather play Seawall battery or Rail gun,wouldn't you?

 

I see your point,there is quite a few maps there and i accidently asked to replace capuzzo with two maps..

 

I ment replace Capuzzo  with Marketgarden.

 

Goldrush SW -> Rail gun

Karsiah - > Seawall battery

Sands of time - > Bergen

Ice -> Pirates

 

Would do nicely i think.

I am unsure if I understood you correct. 4 years old map is novelty? And would I rather play my 154013th round of Battery or 98512th round of Railgun? I have played the maps for over 10 years. Could I have had enough of the official maps? Yes they are amazing for sure, but must not overuse them. But could you please tell us what exactly is wrong in Capuzzo? Lag? Or?

Bumping your thread after a week or so is ok, not every 2 hours .... Also it's only for a map request, not like you are banned from server...

 

And as you wish some answers, let me tell you Battery and Railgun are boring maps and are overplayed for years. New maps are cool and make us see different things instead of same maps over and over.

Not even been on Beginners #2 once..and also i disagree about them being boring every server i've played has both and are played frequently,I'd say overrall people pick the originals more,gimmicky maps like Capuzzo,Minas tirith,helms deep are complete rubbish,yet you have them on some servers.. I've had some great games on Railgun and even better games on seawall,some great defending at the back CP..and on the beach and it's half decent as an allied..

 

You have Seawall on other FA servers,so it can't be that bad can it..

 

Sorry for "Spamming" every two hours..but even so there has been no reply as such..I imagine if i left it alone,it wouldn't even has two comments from you guys.

 

You don't have to play on Beginners #2 so you won't get bored of it will you? but seens as people who play on that server would like it,it would seem a good idea to add it.

Your post still has no informative value. Yes, we can see you have an opinions. Very strong opinions. But you give us no real reasons. Yes ok they are rubbish and gimmick for no reason, fine.

 

You said original maps get picked by players. Yes they do get the most rounds for obvious reason. But I just looked at the list of 30 servers on splatterladder that currently has the most players on. At the moment I looked 26 of them had custom maps running. 4 had original running. 1 had railgun, none battery. Now I won't go on looking at the server rotations, but we can say that people want to play custom maps too. Looking at statistics there are plenty of players that don't bother playing the 6 all the time.

 

You say it seems as people who play on that server want it. Can not tell if that is true or not, but yet again your statement does not seem to be based on much.

It's from experience on the server,other people have said capuzzo is a boring map,so it isn't my opinion only.

 

I won't go into this debate about which servers have custom maps and which don't,there are thousands of custom maps..only 6 originals..the custom maps we have don't play as much as the original maps,and I like the custom maps that are there..I don't like capuzzo,but I'm not alone in that..particularly on the server we happen to be talking about..by all means have capuzzo on every F|A server if they like it,but forcing it upon people isn't really going to help.. I would rather see Rail gun than Capuzzo,helms deep,minas tirith,sands of time,Fata morgana,village,Ice,ET beach..and hundred other Custom maps I've played over the years.. Caen,Pirates and Baserace are about the only decent custom maps.. Caen has a ridiculous amount of votes on that server compared to for instance Ice,Sands of time or Fata morgana or village.

 

My post has informative value,people want these maps..nobody asked for Capuzzo..I don't even know why it's there.

Dickburns vikegirl and Tuco would like Seawall battery,I would like it also and I would like to see railgun..not capuzzo.

 

The maps that need to go are the ones that don't get picked much..I.E Karsiah,reactor,Capuzzo & the double maps need to go,like Goldrush SW.

 

I've played Rail gun on every server I've ever joined..It's a first for me not having it in the list,on most servers people always complain about Fuel dump because of the lag..but on this server they don't..not every server is the same.

 

If it was me and people would like to see some original maps I would let them have it,espically if I don't play there..It's no lose to me.

 

I don't mind having custom maps,I've never played bergen,I've had a look on trackbase and it looks okay,so I'm willing to try..but Capuzzo is old anyway..about two years or so..I've seen before and it never really got picked on that server either..majority of the time maps like baserace or goldrush or Siwa oasis got picked more..even venice got picked more.. I'm sorry that people on the server don't have accounts because they would tell you themselves..It's only vike,dickburns and me that have an account I think..maybe one other..

Your informative value is your opinion and your feeling based on because-you-say-so. Other people could say that certain 6 maps are boring. But I'm done here. Voice of the server has spoken.

 

Reason I asked WHY Capuzzo sucks so bad is that I'm an author of the map and I have been working hard to improve it (testing beta4 now, last public is beta1). But instead of any input this turned into a worthless contest of bashing-head-to-brickwall. Nevermind.

you make it seem as though I'm the only person who wants Seawall battery or Rail gun..read the first posts,I didn't even make this topic..so how it's because I say so I don't know.

 

I'm not saying nobody will like capuzzo..and there probably is a market for it on the full player servers..but it's not the same on this server.. Village would be half decent with full players..but with only 6-6 or 7-7 it's not as good as maps like Gold rush,village is over in seconds because the bots axis are no good at defending and the allied bots just stream through into the object..killing any real player..the axis bots are spread out really far..

 

The map is fine in terms of no glitches (That i'm aware..)but for this server Seawall battery would be better i think..as others have asked for it.. sorry if you feel I'm insulting you,I originally only asked that railgun and/or Seawall battery could be added as a replacement for some other maps,like Village or Goldrush SW or capuzzo.

 

Infact keep capuzzo It doesn't matter to me I can have a smoke..and anybody else who doesn't like it can leave or go spec..but I would like Seawall battery and bergen at least..and railgun.

 

The map is working if that's what you want to know,but this isn't a review topic..It's a map request..so that's why you don't have some feedback..

This is the only thing I wanted to know. Most of the talk I've read about the map is positive. It is not possible to improve anything if people just say something is good or bad. That's why I wanted to hear your perspective. But instead of answering my question you wanted to argue on how most custom maps are rubbish. I don't care what maps are played on the server or not. I am fine playing about any map that I have played more than once.

 

Then you asked me a question which I answered. Unlike you.
